I currently handle complex civil litigation cases for several local law firms. The lawyers in these firms are wonderful practitioners in areas such as criminal defense and real estate transactions, but they do not handle complex injury cases. These types of cases are completely different. They are expensive, time-consuming, and require in-depth knowledge of personal injury law. I can help you with your complex injury case as well. Please contact me for a referral.
So you know that your client is well-represented, please review a few of my professional highlights below:
Wake Forest Law School - J.D. 1999, National Trial Team regional winner and Elite Eight in the nation.
Former Director of Litigation - At Crumley & Associates, I led a team of 4 attorneys and 5 paralegals as supervising attorney.
Adjunct Trial Practice Professor - I teach foundational trial skills and advocacy to students at Elon Law School.
Verdicts - I have recently brought 15 civil cases to jury trial and have lost only one. By "lost", I mean that I obtained a verdict less than the last offer. Of course, as you know, I do not guarantee results - but I do guarantee that I will fight hard for your clients.
I have an excellent supporting team:
David Sherrill - Of Counsel: David assists in our nursing home cases, providing insight and knowledge from his unique background as a lawyer and a registered nurse.
Jim Roane - My father, pulled out of retirement to perform investigations.
Meranda Marshall - Our certified paralegal who actually runs the whole show.
